Many of your patients are increasingly concerned about the environment and particularly about the use of plastics in all industries. At Johnson & Johnson Vision we take our responsibilities seriously and that’s why we are proud to launch the ACUVUE® Contact Lens Recycle Programme with our recycling partner TerraCycle®.
Sign up your practice today!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We have made it simple for you and your patients to get involved, with two different options to recycle. Your patients can either recycle from home via courier collection, or drop off at your practice in a designated recycling bin. The service is free of charge and we accept any brand of soft contact lens and packaging [see accepted waste below].
Recycle from home
Your patients simply collect their lenses, blisters and foils at home and collect in a cardboard box. They then visit acuvue.co.uk/recycle to download a shipping label and arrange a UPS collection – simple!
Drop off in practice
Sign your practice up to be a public location – offer convenient recycling for your patients as well as increasing visibility of your practice.
You’ll receive a recycling bin and promotional materials.
